Marlow Heights, Maryland (PRWEB) January 29, 2008 – Today, McCullough Metro Motors announced the complete restructuring of the former John Koons III Automotive Dealerships, including Mazda, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, and Volkswagen brands, as well as a Pre Owned Super Center and the largest collision repair shop in the D.C. metro area. The New Management team is led by Pat McCullough, a 40 year veteran of the automotive industry, who is actively involved in the local community. Working with Pat and the McCullough Metro Motors team as the dealership’s official spokesperson is James Brown, better know as JB from CBS Sports, a National Celebrity who decided to partner with the new management to help them provide a better and more enjoyable experience for customers. JB is a local success and started his sports career as a local athlete who played for Morgan Wootten at DeMatha High School and went on to play basketball at Harvard. He then began a sports-casting career in Washington, DC as a play-by-play announcer for the NBA Washington Bullets (now known as the Wizards) for Home Team Sports. Early in his career, he hosted a mid-day program on WTEM, an all-sports radio station, co-hosted two weekly Washington-area sports programs, was sports anchor for WUSA-TV for six years, and hosted "James Brown's Pro Football Preview" for Sports Fan Radio. “With the ever-increasing importance of customer satisfaction and improving communications with our customers, we have adopted some cutting edge email programs that provide us the opportunity to communicate with a large number of our customers via eMail, which is the preferred method according to recent studies. In 2005, he was honored with the Director's Award for Broadcasting from The 100 Black Men of America and the Greater Washington Urban League's Sam Lacy Award 2005. Brown received the first annual Pat Summerall Award in 2006, at Super Bowl XL in Detroit, and in 2007 Maxwell Football Club's Excellence in Broadcasting Award and the Dallas All Sports Association Award for Excellence in Sports Journalism.
